Vacancy Process Operator Daytime Amsterdam NWB
Introduction
As one of the first terminal in the Port of Amsterdam, NWB has more than 50 years’ experience in the storage and transhipment of liquid bulk. In recent decades, the focus has been on the storage and transshipment of rum, industrial ethanol and fuel ethanol. As an independent terminal, we distinguish ourselves with our operational flexibility, efficiency and good customer service.
We are a flat and flexible organization with a strong team bond and a pleasant working atmosphere.
NWB is strategically located in the Port of Amsterdam, the fourth-largest port in Europe, and has excellent connections to the rest of Europe via road, rail and waterway infrastructure. With access for ships and barges at our 10-metre draft jetty, our 7-car rail connection and 6 tanker loading bays for simultaneous loading, we are uniquely positioned to serve as your gateway for ethanol to or from continental Europe.
In total, we have 99 tanks of different sizes from 100m3 to 2,100m3 which together account for a total storage capacity of 60,000 m3 with a significant number of stainless-steel tanks. In addition to the existing terminal, we as a company are working on a number of expansion and modernization projects.
For example, a permit has been requested for the expansion of the storage capacity by 50%.
In addition, we took over the site and the associated permits from the neighbouring premises this spring. This site enables us to fill with ethanol in smaller packaging (IBCs and barrels) in addition to boats, trains and trucks. In this way, we can serve an even larger market from this gateway.
In order to realize all our plans, we are looking for enthusiastic and collegial operators to join our team.
